Fidget Spinners

Fidget Spinners should remain banned from class. They are intended to help kids focus, but they actually distract. Essentially, these are toys should only be able to be used during break times, as other toys are.

Fidget spinners are small, relatively inexpensive toys, intended for people with things such as ADHD and anxiety. They are a exceptionally popular trend, and are a common sight in all locations. Many teachers have had to deal with these problematic toys, banning them from classrooms and confiscating. They do more harm than good.

Spinning these requires the use of a hand, which can slow down writing and typing speed and also productivity. They make an annoying whirring sound, which can provoke peers and ultimately make their tasks of a lower quality also. Fidget spinners are not being used for purpose.

Kids argue about the classroom ban, stating that it helps them focus. If they need a object to help them focus, why not use a fidget cube? These don’t distract peers, cost a similar price and act for the same reason. They also are quiet, so they form a perfect combination.

To conclude, fidget spinners are just another trend, about to fade away from existence. In reality, these are just small plastic toys. If a public icon or the popular kid didn’t use it, you wouldn’t care one bit about them.
